been looking for another car now for a few weeks, looking into a lupo or 3door mk4 golf (both in black), viewed a few aswell but the lupos are realy small and wanting something the same or a lil bigger then my corsa, reason for looking at the mk4 golf..
just had a quite nose at the zetec s's and cant believe how much you get for your money, even rang my insurer and its another £12 a year to insure one over my 1.0 12v corsa
anyone know much about the fiesta zs's? its the phase 2 id be looking at getting

yer, exactly what i mean, just stuck at the mo..
they have got all the styling so dont need to spend money on nothing like the other choice of cars i was going to get..
just get some coilovers to lower it to a nice stance, but no where near as much like the corsa hehe

My missus' Zetec S

A few subtle mods, the bonet has a very slight bad boy, just to lose the curve over the headlights, de-stripped and a few under bonent tweeks.
They do like to drink oil and if you ever get the light pull over immediately, don't drive even a mile with the oil warning light on as you'll need a new engine!
other than that, the steering wheel colour wears off in now time, if you find one with no wear, question it.
Apart from that, we've not really had any problems

Not lightning quick, but will feel so much faster than your 12v. Quite brilliant handling too imo!

Missus has one, its great fun to drive, not the quickest but handles very well. Steering wheels fade really quickly, dash is crap, seats are hard and as Lee said they use a lot of oil.
Well worth the prices you can pick them up for nowadays.

For a 1.6 they aint much quicker than a 1.4 sport. But they do look really nice though.

im not to botherd about speed tbh, aslong as its quicker then my 1.0 12v corsa then il be happy with that, which its going to be..
just want it to look smart which is does, cheap on insurance which it is, have luxurys (traction control, air con, electric windows etc) and produce decent mpg..
got everything realy could always fit an aftermarket exhaust and filter to free up some bhp
