well prob the worst week of my life. I got a new crank shaft sensor fittted last monday cos my car was splutterin. so they said it would b fixed if i get that done. so i get it done and about an hour later it starts again so i take it back 2day 4 a new 1 cos they said it could b a faulty sensor. and they said failin that if it does it again it'll b the wirin loom or the ECU. so get half way down the road and guess what? it starts again!! Really dont no what 2 do now? Bought the car a month ago, spent quite a bit on it now and its a nice little car so dont really want 2 give up on it! suggestions please??

Get a second opinion if you want.

If they think it's the loom or the ECU then they're the next things to look at.

The EGR valve is on the right hand side of the engine block, and held on by 4 bolts.

thing is, 90% of the time, vauxhalls throw up the crank sensor as a fault even though it isnt!...so that is likely not even the problem...
