Few years ago i received this story.. it was in another language but i translated it to english. it might be cheesy and difinetly sad, but it makes my stomach turn all around..
i know not everyone will appreciate it, but for those who will:
Year 9:
When I was sitting in classroom, I was looking at girl, her beautiful hair. She always was my best friend.
I wanted her to be mine. I loved her, but she didn’t see that. After lesson she asked for my notes from pervious lesson which she missed. I gave them to her. She said thank you and kissed my cheek. I wanted to
Say, that I love her, and don’t want to be just
Friends. But I hesitate to say that. And I don’t know why. She didn’t know about it, and I knew that.
Year10:
Phone call. It’s her. She is Crying. All what I could understand was that her love broke her heart. She asked me to come. I came. When I sat next to her at sofa, I was looking at her beautiful eyes. I wanted her to be mine. After two hours of watching movie, she decide to go to sleep. She said "Thank you" and kissed my cheek. I wanted to say that I love her, but I could not. I wanted her to be mine.
Year11:
One day before school party she came to me and said " my boyfriend is ill, do you want to go with me to the party?" I didn’t have a girlfriend so I said yes.
That night, after party, she said that she had really good time with me. She kissed my cheek. She was smiling and she was looking at me with her crystal eyes. I wanted to Say, that I love her, and don’t want to be just Friends. But I hesitate to say that. And I don’t know why. She didn’t know about it, and I knew that.
After that she said: "It was good night with you, thank you" and kissed my cheek.
Last school day
One day, after that week, month. Final school day came.
I was looking how she like an angel was flying to take her certificates. I wanted to
Say, that I love her, and don’t want to be just
Friends. But I hesitate to say that. And I don’t know why. She didn’t know about it, and I knew that. Before every one left, she came to me in her perfect white dress. She hugged me and stated to cry.
She said: "U r my best friend in the world, THANK YOU"
She kissed my cheek. I wanted to
Say, that I love her, and don’t want to be just
Friends. But I hesitate to say that. And I don’t know why. She didn’t know about it, and I knew that.
Few years later.
I'm sitting on church bench. It’s her wedding. She just said "yes" and her new life started with new man.
I wish she were mine. But she didn’t see that, and I knew it. But before she left, she saw me and came to me. "You came! Thank you" she said and kissed my cheek.
I wanted to say, that I love her, and don’t want to be just friends. But I hesitate to say that. And I don’t know why. She didn’t know about it, and I knew that.
Funeral
I was there. I was looking at her. There was a woman, which always was my best friend. They were reading her diary, where she was writing about her during school years. There was a sentence "I was looking at him. I wanted him to be mine, but he didn’t know that I love him and I knew it. I wanted to say, I wanted him to know that I love him and want to be with him for ever."
To be happy they had to say just three words to each other.
