Best Sub & Amp Package for £60-£70 delivered?
The title really,
I have found a couple of 'Mutant combos' but have no idea if there a 'good' make or not.
Id like one of them all in one things.
Anyone with any advice / recommendations?
Thanks in advance

Mutant are shite.
Look second hand at that price range.
I'm selling a Fusion Sub & Amp package in the classifieds which is sort of in your budget.
Are you after a package that sells a sub and amp together, or an active sub or what?!

Why are mutant shit????
Ive had a mutant amp for 5 years now and never missed a beat.Works and sounds fine with my 6by9s.
Is this shit claim ACTUALLY based on having owned one or just being on the band wagon to be cool?

1. You own a mutant amp
2. You own 6x9's
3. You think this sounds fine
I can now deduce that you know nothing about car audio

My brother has a mutant sub and amp in his polo.
Hes not into playing it loud etc,but for him he says it does the job, nice deep bass and with his alpine components i have to say it doesnt sound bad.
Ive heard stuff like splx and Boss and mutant does sound a lot better.
Imo for a budget set theyre ok.

you can deduce all you like but you dont know me so keep your opinions about me and what i know to yourself please as i meerly asked a question. One that you still havent answered.
As for my knowledge of audio i dont know an awful lot about it but i do know that for a budget mutant are NOT shit for the money and also clearly you just trying to be smart with your replies!

m17tty - My opinion of Mutant being shit is based on the following:
I have heard their "demo" cars - they sound atrocious,
A work colleague has their amp and 6x9's - my set of Pioneer components sound better!
My mate used to work @ their UK distribution centre so I know they cost a shockingly small margin of what they retail for and how they get treated! Sitting in damp warehouses and getting kicked about, before being sent to Halfords etc as new stock!

But he's dead right.
And yes, I knew a lot about audio, and i know from experience, cheap kit is not very good, gives below average quality (just cos its loud and boomy doesn't make it good), and cheap kit ruins better kit as the signal quality is so bad.
You won't get a "good" sound kit for this money, you will get a loud boomy but sh1te system that sounds terrible really (but as the owner you'll think its great).

JBL GT5 subwoofer 275w RMS
JBL GTO75.2 amp (291w RMS)
A custom built 1.8 cubic feet enclosure, vented, tuned to 33Hz.
Very loud, very deep and very cheap I paid 95 for all that. WELL worth it, blows fuck outta anything cheap my mates chuck in their boot.
I'd recommend cheap JBL stuff really, boggo 1 cubic foot sealed box and a cheap JBL amp and a GT5 sub and you're away.
Oh, and mutant ARE shit
OH, so are FLI traps lol

I'd rather cut my ears off like Mr "Chopper" Reid then have a mutant package.
