Looking for a hot hatch style car...

hes considering Focus ST, Astra Gsi

up 9k. 21 years old. 2 yrs ncb..

Anyone suggest any think...
pros + cons etc.

DC5 integra can be had for that money

or could spend half that and get an ep3 ctr

Can you get a focus st for that money? or are you talking about the st170's?

ive seen the odd one or two for low 9k...

he likes the ctr. (52plate etc)

Ok maybe not an 07 then, theres some on AT for 9k & under with <20k mile on them.

Astra VXR's are silly cheap now, especially some of the first ones. tbh, every GSi I've looked at on AutoTrader/eBay has either been modified, or just a complete dog.

Was looking at GSi's myself, they've all been to the moon and back it would appear, and people still want top dollar for them


But in response to the actual topic, probably pick up a 54/05 plate Clio 182 with PLENTY of change to pay a years insurance & buy some goodies.

I work for Renault and i cant ever say we've ever had any with any major problems.
Make sure they have service history and if it's done over 36k make sure the auxiliry belts been done, the backbox rubbers are bad for perishing on them, and sometimes broken springs.

still prefer the corsa vxr, but seeing as the astra is cheaper i may consider that next year
plus more room for when have kids!
