NO, only uggs made in Australia by a shepherds wife are real. If they have a label they are fake. Them ones are made in China for an American company that are raping the trade in REAL ugg boots by the Astralian craftswomen who are being sued for copyright infringment on boots they have been making for decades.

From another site:

I have done a little research on Ugg boots. Real Ugg boots as in Ugg Australia are owned by an American firm called Decker's, they are nearly all made in China bar the mens Ugg ultra short boots which are made in New Zealand, they are not even sold in Australia. There is a firm in the Uk called Celt boots, they used to be called Ugg boots but Decker bought the name in 1995 I think.
I am a size 9UK, and I bought a pair of Ugg mens ultra short boots in size 9UK, they where OK when I bought them but as the fleece inside flattened they became much too big for me. They are very wide and I have wide feet. Buy a size smaller if you get uggs, once the pile flattens they will fit you right. I would recommend buying a pair of either Cornish made Celts or proper Australian made Uggs not the American owned Chinese made over priced proper Uggs!!

You can't kind of "Ugg" as comfy as the real one's...

Cheap versions or fake's will just fall apart...

Might aswell pay the extra bit to the right people and get the comfort and quality you want!

I was in Aspecto in Leeds the other day buying some trainers, my size was held of site so the bloke went to get them for me leaving me in the shop for about 10 mins. Within the 10 mins i was waiting they must have had at lest 20 people come in and ask about them Got talking to a girl who worked there and she was saying they were rubbish, and you'd be better off with a pair from the market. They'd had loads of pair returned due to them "slouching" on the instep.

Personally think they look like something my granny used to wear in the winter. Just goes to show if you put someone famous in something, then people will want them regardless of the quality or how they look.

Uggs are actually mens shoes and not designed for women. They are for shepherds to keep their feet warm in winter.

My sisters (and other girls I know) have had them for years without any problems at all.

Knowing Aspecto they'll of been selling cheap knock offs like they do a lot of other stuff and try to pass it off as genuine.

Sorry I should rethink my equation. Uggs + Men, who don't own a herd of sheep = Mega homo.

they are still like new.. made out of bits of animal

they dont look like UGGs though. they are brown and beige with laces and buttons (well teeth from some animal ) come up to her knee nearly

Since they have become popular they probably dont manufacture them as well as they used to.

Make um cheap + sell um for the same price = Bigger Proffit

So if there's a wee old shepherd's wife sitting in the living room sowing up a pair of boots she name brands them?

I'd have thought they're actually called Ugg boots becasue of what they are not where they've been made. In the same way that moccasins are called moccasins if you get me.

They've only got a limited time span though surley, in a few months when the craze dies down & everyone moves on most will have forgotten what Ugg boots are.

Cash in while you can kinda thing.

Not really, they've been about for years and years, and they've got their brand into the limelight now so can either take advantage and make short term profit, or can keep the brand name and have longer term profits. Producing shitty products on the back of one popular product will only see them fade away very quickly, and I doubt any business with someone with a brain in charge will do this.
