Found this -

Prices in Swiss Franks, loosly translated :

£28134.72 for the car (Standard colour Frozen white)
£1184.03 for comfort pack
£1550.51 for tech pack
£1048.71 for green
£366.48 for blue
£873.92 for nav

So £33659.81 for an Electric green one with all the toys!! Thats if the price remains the same for our currency!!

Hopefully thats wrong as its horrificly expensive for a Ford!

Mate's got one pre-ordered or ordered.

In Green.

I have no idea of prices, but he's selling his FQ400 for it, and buying it outright...

I wouldnt order anything until prices are anounced!!

Also heard no ones officially taken an arder, just taken cash for a priority list, which if fully refundable.

Id like one, wouldnt pay £28k for one though!

I don't think you can directly exchange their money to ours. I think Swiss/Norwegian cars are expensive in the first place.

iirc swiss pay a hefty tax charge, which makes them more expensive than the rest of Europe?

Won't be that good, motoring press will say it's fantastic even if it's average.

I think it'll be better than "average" tbh Oli, they've got a massive reputation to live up to on previous models, but then again, being ford it probably won't live up to expectations.:

Probably a grand for green paint because most people that have ordered have stated green!!

Think id want mine blue if I was having one!!

Looked on ford.ch & an ST over there is £21387.57 (conveted to £'s), also not sure if thats a ST2 or ST3, there seems to be a few options aswell but my swiss isnt very good so.............take from that what you will.

Do they? What I had read they say it was unrulely, torque steering etc. So it's ok for one car to be unruley, have some torque steer, but if another car does it's immediately crap

Oh yes, it has a blue oval on the front accompanied by that RS badge that means it's instantly a good car.

I love Fords, you know I do I paid a lot of money for an old one . But they do half get rated a lot higher than they really should.

The only thing that made the RS such a good car was it was the only powerfull FWD that had a diff so handled quite well.

In todays hot hatches, i think it would get stuffed.

I love them, but I wouldn't pay the premium for an RS badge, not now.

Maybe the 90's era RS's because back then they were leagues above the competition, but now naaa.

Well everyone else does, so why can't I?

The amount of times I have to endure "You got an Astra VXR, they handle like shit don't they? Torque steer so bad it rips your hands off"

Annoying isn't it Jake.

My dad has a 250 bhp Mk1 Focus RS, it does torque steer, but its not exactly hard to handle. If you know how to drive properly, its not a problem at all.
I've driven it numerous times and its an absolute blast

I'm quite confident this new RS will be awesome, and i will find out for sure when my dad gets his white one
