Initially i was looking at a Fiesta. After test driving one, i'm really not a fan. Felt cheap and nasty and had no leg room what so ever. Not so good when stuck on the motorway in traffic for 3/4 hours.
The 307 i can't fault too much. Could do with a bit more umffff on the motorway but has enough toys to play with. It is a bit quiet too which i don't really like
Come up with some choices of cars i really like. Will have to test drive them all mine
Don't really fancy a new car again when i see how much i've lost over the years. Plus, the cars i'm looking at cost quite a bit from new.
All will be diesel too as i'm doing 25k ish a year

My A3 is just over a year old now so around the age you will be looking at.
I like it. Best bit for me is the interior. Kicks most other stuff in to touch. Main reason I bought it over the Golf along with the fact I prefer the bodystyling. Expensive though but I just like the feel and quality of it. Just feels that bit more special somehow.
Wouldn't get anything but an S-line spec. The SE & Sports look nothing special. SE is a bit old man too.

I like the beemer and for 10k i can get a proper minter. People will think it's my Dads car though
Golf is my first choice but expensive when compared with the BMW and A3. Love the Astra but i can get a Golf for that money.
I don't know what i want

Golf.
Don't buy an A3. You pay a premium for a Golf in a fancy frock. Ask jr.

Deano GTF. The A3 is a far superior car to the Golf.

I'd rather have the Polo than the Ibiza.
