Some of you may have been following the story / progress of my girlfriends state.

She will hopefully be getting moved back down here to Dumfries tomorrow if all goes to plan.

Thatl be 2 months and 5 days shes been in a coma and been in Edinburgh.

She is still in a Coma and hasnt made alot of progress lately but shes stable, and thats the main thing.

I swear, if she wakes for Christmas, then thats my Xmas presents covered for the rest of my life!

Dont get me wrong, ive had my moments. Eyeing up the full bottle of sleeping tablets in my room etc, and i still do have these moments. Anything for a quick fix, which generally is ending it.

Ive had counsellor appointments and im off to the doctors again on Friday for something for anxiety suppression, but the glimmer of hope that she may come round is too great. What if she woke and i had kicked the bucket?

If i gave up without seeing the end of this situation, id have failed as a human. I see this as a test, which i either pass or i die.

Keep your head up mate, hopefully things will come good in the end!

You've stuck by her side this long, when alot of people would have ran a mile.

When she wakes, you know it will have all been worth while.

Hope she wakes up before Christmas for you mate, your the type of person who is giving other people faith in that there is still some decent people around.

If i remember correctly, you hadn't been with her very long before hand? Which makes it even more commendable as i'm sure 90% of people would of left by now.

Oh yeah and one last thing, stop thinking about ending it, think about the situation your in now and then think about what your friends and family will feel like if you did that.

We went to school together and had a brief moment where we were going out etc (what id give to be 14 again!).

We went our own ways after school (we both still liked each other but, A - Didnt tell each other, and B - We lived too far away anyway.

She moved to Edinburgh a few years later with a bloke and i still REALLY liked her and always hoped there may possibly be a chance somewhere down the line.

Her and her man split and she moved back home and we got in contact again. We met up a few times and i told her id always liked her since school to which she said the same!! I was totally taken back and happy as foook. We eventually started seeing each other. I was as happy as a pig in shit, and ironically the day of the crash i was sat there in her car thinking as she drove me home 'God lifes good right now. Ive finally got her' And i was on top of my game, especially as last year my ex had fucked off with someone else, and id had a general bad run of nutjob women, so you can see why i was happy.

1 Hour later, it was all changed......

So this is why i CANT turn and leave. Ive wanted her for so long and to finally have her means so god damn much. Id give anything and everything to have her come out of this ok. All my worldly posessions, money and my word.

Consider this an E-prayer.
