I've got one.

It's an ace little car, just got 60MPG, nippy as hell for a 1.3 derv, cheap tax (£35 a year if it's after 05 ) really comfortable to drive, with a good driving postion

Edit - Group 2 insurance

what kind of mileage do you guys get from this engine? I want to swap the gfs pug 1.4 HDI for one, but the french car seems to do soooooo well in terms of mileage for the tank (about 760-790 miles to a tank)

My Girlfriend has an SXi + one, great wee car, runs on fumes I thing, get an easy 100 to 110 miles out of a tenner just now.

I'd go for a + one, worth it just for the leather.

I would get one, but need a bigger car than a corsa.

Seems like a good car to buy though

depends on wht tyou want it for tbh, they seem to be very good for short/city driving, but if a lot of motorway miles are to be convered then go for the 100ps 1.7cdti

Life is the base model mate, you get electric windows and thats it I personally, would go for a 1.3cdti in SXI trim. You get alloys, sports seats, better suspension setup, electric mirrors and windows, white dials and a cd player as standard. You may also be lucky and find one with some irmscher goodies on

Not all are £35 tax per year, which is their main appeal. Therefore if your budget won't stretch to one that is, and you end up getting a £120/year, I'd personally go for the 1.7CDTi SRi. Yes, it's slightly more expensive more to run all round, but it's a faster car etc.

Depends what you want out of it

I believe you can get a tuning box yes. I'm pretty sure the ECU is like that of the 1.7CDTi engine, unmappable at the moment.

The odd 54-plate and every 05-plate onwards, should, in theory, be £35 tax/year
