If you know the car you want but you can't buy it just at the moment but however you are able to purchase the wheels you want, then there is nothing wrong in doing that is there?
Just some of my friends think i am mad even considering ordering wheels for a car i haven't got.

No, I don't see the problem in it.
Just had my 21st birthday and been looking at Corsa C Irmscher bits on eBay
And who gives a f**k what your mates think? Just don't tell them

Its not that i may need the money as i have plenty saved, it was saved as the deposit but that isn't needed now.
I am thinking that if i order them they may take a few weeks to come so by the time they get here i SHOULD have the car.

Unless they're cheap/2nd hand/one-off bargain then what's the point? If the money is savings then it's better off sat in a bank account earning abit of interest.

I can't give any info away at this present time as i don't want anything to fuck up, which is usually the case when i start getting happy a plan is coming together. Just unsure whether i should order the wheels.

Unless there the last set in the world and its a once in a lifetime chance then wait till you have the car !
There only where 50% of what you paid if you try to sell them on anyway so wouldn't risk it !

No they aren't the last set but last time they took 4 weeks to come, now i am thinking if i order them now i should have the car if i leave it any later then i run the risk of them coming around christmas and we all know how predeictable post and things are round that time.

Yes they are 17's. Looked into getting 16's and they don't come with the polished face just a silver finish, which is not what i am after.

I don't see the problem with it, only thing is if something went wrong with buying the car and it fell through, but I guess if you want that same shape car it's still not a problem.
