Who has had them removed and how did you know that they needed removing before the dentist said?

my brother did years ago, looked like he had gone about 50 rounds with mike tyson in his prime
face was all bruised and swollen, dribbling blood out of his mouth for days

if you need them removed you will probalby be in a lot of pain

Causes alot of pain, pushing on your teeth infront if they are coming through at an angle and cutting the gum

My teeth dont hurt, just lower gum on one side

its on and off at the moment. Its just aching. Not soo bad i want to rip my teeth out

the pain will be very intense if you need them removing and paracetamol won't do any good.
it will feel like someone has hit you full pelt in the side of your face.
if it feels like that,go to a dentist.

That's just them pushing through the skin, basically teething...
The dentist will be able to tell you whether there is space for them in your mouth or not

When it feels like an intense throbbing like you've been thumped will be more like your wisdom teeth.
Might just be sensitivity or a bit of plague caught under your gum. Brush your teeth well but dont rinse and see if this helps after a few days

i know how u feel mate.
my wisdom teeth are growing on their side into the back of my rear teeth. they're stating to move now and i can feel it already. my dentist said you'll know when to come back haha

well if they are very sore go to a dentist and they will stick a huge needle right into your gum and after a few seconds you won't feel a thing and probably start dribbling.
if the pain stays go to a dentist and they will tell you if you have crowding if so, it will be the dribbling mess time again.

I had three of my wisdom teeth taken out under general anaesthetic in the hospital in January (impacted). It was horrific at the time, I had an awful time of it and took (no exaggeration) six weeks before I felt properly well and could eat "proper" food again. I have quite a high pain threshold but the first few days were absolute agony- thank god for codeine, in conjunction with paracetamol and ibuprofen though!
Saying that, it has been the best thing I could have done as my wisdom teeth were really painful before that. So if you need to have them taken out I would just keep telling yourself that to get you through it! Luckily my dentist doesn't think my other wisdom tooth will ever grow through, or if it does it won't be impacted and consequently won't cause any problems.

Oh no I feel awful now I'm so sorry!
It's just what happened to me though, everyone will react differently and probably heal at different times. But like I said before, it was horrid for 6weeks but in all honestly it was the best thing I could have done cos my wisdoms were REALLY awful before. Demand codeine and you will be fine  And you can pace your painkillers throughout the day cos you can take the paracetamol, ibuprofen and codeine in conjunction. Ibuprofen also is an NSAID so it helps with the swelling and arnica cream is good for the bruising too

I got two out...
they did the bottom one first because they said it was the most painful
It was fine, other than a student dentist being in to watch so they talked through everything they were doing!
So I was expecting the top one to be easy....I was screaming in pain! I felt like they were pulling my nose off my face
eventually I got 8 injections round the top of my mouth to try to numb it further!
getting my other top one out soon too
