Other than running out of petrol 2 minutes from the workshop (I thought I could make it to the petrol station ) She goes very well, better than expected on the standard engine.. Pushed a TypeR up the road and its on par with my mates Redtopped GSi. Very happy with the build so far but I really need to sort the brake bias valve out and get my tracking done

Just a plate.. And its still plugged in to stop the ECU bitching.. Luckilly my new manifold blanks off the EGR at the exhaust port so I can just leave it fitted as normal.

The only issue with the manifold is the runner length and the fact they are un-equal.. just means its going to be more beneficial to torque otuput (which dont forget is a good thing on a small block) .. It will also sound pretty rough, probably a bit like an EJ20 if you made it really small lol.

Basically that it was a pants design and that there are better designs out there. It more of a use as de-cat than a performance manifold.

its got an adjustable FPR and no EGR valve. I dont know how they respond to tuning, hence asking. It performed similar to a 2.0 16v XE and was quicker than a 200bhp type R so i figured its going to be a bit better than the usual couple of bhp. However I bow to your superior knowledge and lack of tact.

You need to look at the bigger picture.. Yes the TypeR is 200bhp but it also weighs 1.2 tonne!

Civic
1270 kg
200bhp
160 bhp/tonne

Corsa
845kg for a standard merit, so I'd say mine weighs about 760..
circa 125bhp
167 bhp/tonne

Combined with the close ratio F13 I'd say its not that much of a revelation.
