obviously dependant upon condition mileage etc lots of variables to affect it but a decent normal zetec-s on an x reg should bring around 2k fair price ...

a 2001 X plate fiesta zetec-s with 70,000 average mileage is currently worth..

£1,745 private good example, £1,220 private poor example
£1,365 part exchange value, £2,145 independent dealer value.

how cheap are these now?! 3 years ago they were £5k+.

tbh, £2k is probably fair-ish, especially as it;s X-reg so you don't get ripped off tax wise.

If parkers is saying 1750 you'll be lucky to get 1500.

Whether it's reasonable or not this 'credit curnch' has done no good for people selling cars.

The longer you wait the less it's worth, time to cut your losses.

I just searched eBay quickly, the newer ones (2002 plates) seem to fetch over double £1500. Bit of a bummer really!
