I really can't decide what car to buy next or even buy one at all!!!

My main point is to get a newer car that's quick and fun but won't lose tonnes of value over the next year as were trying for a baby in the summer so needs to be easy to sell too.

My heart is set on this first

03 Plate Boxster S

It's just been serviced at Porsche and it's got a tracker..heated seats which is a big plus..parking sensors etc etc and well it's a Porsche

Next is the S2000 pretty much like in this price range...

03 Plate S2000

BUT even though i can afford the Porsche the temptation to save a bit of cash buying the S2K is tempting at times like this. The other option is an E46 M3 and i have my eye on this one..

05 Plate M3

Lovely spec..plate is worth a few quid..lovely sound and the seller sounds ok ie posh lol but i'm not sure on it keeping it's value well AND is it going to have the fun factor of the other two? The extra seats would come in handy at some point too i'm sure.

Been looking at other cars but these are what i have kinda decided on Insurance is pretty much the same on the Porsche and M3 but cheaper on the S2K.

What do you gang think?? Also does anyone want a cheap scooby??

Don't get a boxster you fanny!

S2000: Its more manly, you'll save yourself cash on buying, running and maintaing it.

Plus the whole VTEC screaming thing might bore me! I'd much rather have a 3.2 booming behind me

If the current financial situation continues none of those will hold their value.

S2000 is one of the best for not depreciating too badly, but recently its really been on the slide as people struggling without payments try to flog them.

M3

my dad has a B3 e46 and loves it, it has a similar engine to the m3 and its really nice and comfy inside, plus is reliable and has more than enough room for the shopping and a baby seat

I'm a porsche fan, but i'd still feel a prat driving a Boxster. Add a couple of Mugen bits and pieces to the S2000, and it'll be awesome.

Just my thoughts though.

Actually, now that i've taken a look at the M3, i'd probably go for that.

I've got a bit of a soft spot for CSLs (or look-a-likies). Just make sure you can really afford it. Dont let your heart rule your head.
