any think fast and cheapist to insure (that my insurance company will transfer my insurance over for (get no claims in jan)
wont transfer it on a 2.0turbo or 2.2 astra
something to blat around in for a month that cheapist (type r's are now sub 5k!)
something turbo too 
or idealy a engine conversion

I guarentee you will love a 16v xsi/rallye and you wont want to get rid and they are quite easily sellable.

id have a derv any day
and the VAG PD engines are so much more tune able than the vauxhall ones
but for the moment it will be for a few months, so doesnt realy matter what it is

i think in need to be more exact here
even though my insurance company will insure me on a 1.8 corsa b with throttle bodies, they wont insure me on a 2.2 or 2.0 turbo astra
right i need to be able to transfer the insurance (not start a new 12month policly like id have to on the astra's) so with that in mind it can be anything over 2.0 i guess, and nothing high insurance
just wanted something fun over winter (not the best of times to be having fun, i must say )
maybe even a cheap XE corsa 
something that needs fixing?
or a diesel (would have to be a common rail one)
