Get yourself over on SCN, loads of info.
http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/
If it's 2003 make sure it's had it's cambelt and water pump changed recently as it costs a fair bit and needs doing.
Loads of little niggles like coilpacks, water leaks, lacquer peel on wheels etc.. are common but again loads of info on SCN.

Aggree with Allan get the cambelt and water pump done, as quite a few of the 1.8t's had plastic impellors on the water pumps which can wreak all sorts of havoc if it goes!

It might not be the 225 version as it has the same wing mirrors and steering wheel as the 210 version. As Alllan said, get over to SCN and you'll find all the answers to your questions.
I had the water pump go on mine, luckily it was still under warranty and had it replaced with a metal impellor instead. I had them to do the cambelt at the same time to save a bit of money.

Seems like you got lucky with yours, i've heard of the water pump taking the belt etc with it before

Sat in a mates one tonight, they are very nice and the seats are extremely comfy. Come with all the luxuries, E/W, E/M etc climate control and all that...
And they can be made to look very nice with not too much effort.
TBH it's quite easily on my list for my next car.
