After driving my Brother in laws Cayman S tonight i'm seriously looking into these
Before this the only Porsche i'd driven was a T reg Boxster which dissapointed me greatly in the performance stakes felt very slow but everything else about it felt perfect!
I've found this one which fits the bill....
03 plate Boxster S
I'd say that's a lot of car for 17k!
And please no 'It's a poor mans 911' bullshit.

seeing as 10-12k can bag you a Boxster S with reletively low miles you could do a lot worse!
Paves the way to owning real cars

TBF, they are really just a poor mans 911 in whatever way you look at it, so why not just buy a 911? plus you will get an extra 2 seats

Same as getting your car keyed or tyres slashed though, can't let the chavs andd scum bags stop you from doing what you want

Nice cars but you will hate it, its small and cheap.
We had one, lasted about 4 months then was traded for the M5.
And we had a 911 at the time also so no it wasnt a case of couldnt afford the 911
