I was thinking earlier at work that now Iv got a standard car (soon to be modified) that I dont seem to get other people trying to Intimedate, Race or generally been an arse towards me anymore and I used to get it all the time I had a modified car. I was just wondering if anyone else gets this?

I totally agree, Not that my corsa was modified (much)- People regarded me to be a "chav " or a "Boyracer". they still do though because I have an install in my astra

Didn't get people trying to race me when I get my Fiesta after having my Corsa, but didn't get the intimidating or being an arse towards me thing, ever. Apart from Police.

I have a completely different driving experience depending on whether I take the Corsa, the Astra or the Land Rover. Corsa I always wish it was faster because people have a go. Astra is quick enough but people don't try it. Land Rover is the easiest. Everyone moves out of your way.

Had a few people wanting to race the Corsa. Nobody in the Cavalier.

Only two guys in S3s over here have tried it on with the Rex.

Best one is my dad's Meriva though, you can't imagine how many dads in MPVs partake in Traffic Light GPs.

I like showing Fiesta ST`s smoke, lots of them round our way

I think the trying to race is people just wanting a bit of fun which I dont really mind. If I had a quicker car I'd be tempted lol. It's the ones that drive so close behind that do my fruit in. Just a lack of patience I reckon. Brake test usually shakes them off though

I agree lol. What do people see from being that close behind you. I had one bloke pull me over because I did a little brake test lol, and all after he was on my bumper for about 5 mile.

I get this, now I got my standard diseasel astra no one bothers, unless I overtake someone on the motorway or dual carriageway a little over the NSL

When I had my, admittedly, chavved up Corsa and used to drive about there would be someone on my arse

Yes, had it the other week, I was stopped at a pedestrian crossing and opposite to me on the other side was another vectra v6, he felt the need to scream off when the lights changed whilst looking at me makes me laugh when people do that.

I don't really know now why I pulled over I think about it lol. Think I just wanted to know what his problem was with me after he was the one having a go at me.

i love it! when i had the 106gti i had a 50 year old guy in mondeo at lights with his wife in seat with him, he started reving his up lol i was laughing with him tho. then id start slow then floor it for a few seconds and watch him catch back up lol... what i liked about that car was instant power! im not saying it was a boxter beater as it wasnt but had some tit up my arse so i slowed down, then he went to overtake, dropped it a gear let him pull out then boot it. they dont like that lol! now i just go around dumping the cupra everywhere hehe .... god i think that means i am a boy racer.... o dear bad times
