Up until recently i have been having shit nights sleep, waking up in the night ect. And now i wake up at 4ish, really pissed off cause i want to sleep, manage to get back to sleep an then THATS when i have my best sleep! between 4 and when my alarm goes off at 7! Its starting to annoy me as id like to go bed and sleep well through the night.

Does anyone come across this? And does anyone have any suggestions?

Oh i tried wanking, my misses dogs animal tranquilisers and Horlicks......guess what they dont work!

Yeh, I struggle to snooze thesedays. I put it down to work, generally I leave work at the office, but recently I have been having dreams involving work related stuff which is a bit strange.

I've found that a few paracetemols and a large vodka do the trick. Gives you a raging headache the next morning though, I have yet to find a happy medium.

What time do you go to bed?

I find that if I go to be at 9pm and sleep through to 7am I feeel worse for it. I tend to go to bed at 11-12pm.

I never get a solid nights sleep, i wake up 2-3 times a night, sometimes within the hour of nodding off, sometimes after a few hours of sleep.

I suffer from severe night terrors, so i've never really had a good deep undisturbed sleep, i've always woken up through the night. It's kind of annoying because I go to bed at 10-10.30 and wake up at 6.30-7 so I usually have prime time 8 hours, but its never solid sleep, more of a 4/2/2 split or something.

I've tried relaxing before bed so no TV/PC, just read a book/mag and chill out. I've tried sleeping pills, i'v tried alot of things but they never seem to work. I don't know if its because I have too many things on my mind, or it's with my whole OCD thing where I have to check everything is locked and turned off 10x before bed, i might sub-conciously be thinking something is on in ym sleep so i wake up?

One thing I do know which was diagnosed by doctor is that my brain doesn't switch off when i go to sleep, so its constantly thinking things which is why i suffer from night terrors and probably still wake up thinking things are on or open etc...

I have never (well, since I was about 14) been able to get to sleep until gone 2 in the morning, normally later. But once I do I rarely wake up until 7 or 8ish in the morning.

Put somethin different a minute ago then re-read. You only get 4hrs a night? I'd be dead.

I sleep all the way through with no waking up, often 8 - 10 hours straight.

My valuable input
