Agreed, but makes your wipers streaky sometimes.

Google RainX, specifically designed for it.

You want Aquapel.....I can't speak highly enough about this stuff.

Bet place to get it is Ebay. They use it on planes and in most tin top race championships.

I would use the wipers aswell, but it helps to clear the windscreen quicker, as said could also be used on rear, sides even mirrors

In my mind, anything that helps to keep the screen clear is a good idea!

If it's that annoying rain where it's in between the flick wipe/intermittent(sp) wipe it helps like fuck. It's literally as if the rain is running down a vertical surface at anything more than 30mph.

I used to use RainX all the time. On the motorway when it's raining you can turn your wipers off. If it's throwing it down and your booting it, it's really clear!!!

More rain + High speed = Safer driving

Higher speed than your wipers can manage is too much laddie. But aye, I have no rear wiper and it helps to have that Aqua stuff on!

Another post just reminded me of this thread, i've had rainx on my car for a month or so now.

Not impressed at all.

The interior wipes made a mess of my windows, just like baby wipes with window cleaner on them and certainly not anti mist as claimed.

I don't really see the point of the exterior stuff, leaves a greasy film on the window to work and doesn't imo do that good a job.

If it's that drizzle stuff you can leave the wipers off for longer, only if there is no sun or lights, as soon as there is a street light or a car light you can't see out the window because of the rain.

I still need to use my wipers in heavier rain but I can see them wiping across the greasy film.

Back and side windows i've not noticed any difference.

Won't be putting it on again.

RainX is a pita to use - Am going to try Aquapel when this is all gone.

My Dad swears by Halfords own version which he claims is better!

I bought rain-X glass cleaner and im very impressed
So easy as you just use it as a normal glass cleaner! i just sprayed it all over my windscreen and rubbed with an old demister pad then washed it with water, worked a treat

I use rain-x on the side and rear windows. Works really well and lasts for ages.

Dont dare use it on the windscreen as can imagine it smearing when using the wipers and that would do my head in.

It doesn't really smear, you know there's a film there though.
