Well after selling my e36 320, realised really how much i missed a big car, and seen as though im not a fast driver an e36 fitted the bill again. 2 owners, 90k, 18inch rd2's, lowered 35mm front 15mm back on bilstein kit.
I love it, its immaculate, even cleaner then the white 320 was, only plans are to get the m3 spoiler and a front lip something like the alpina one i had on the white 320

(Awaits the people that say would rather have the corsa, to those people all i can say is )

Im 18 and will (hopefully) have 1 years no claims in january, and I am lookin at paying about £1600, but if I want a 1.6 corsa sport I will be paying £2000 insurance which I can get a 325 for .

tbh i think at 18 a 325 with it bein rwd is askin for trouble, this steps out easy enough and if you have only been driving a year with no disrespect its a potential handfull.
But at same time, if your toying between a corsa or an e36 there no comparison mate

Im not getting a 325, for that exact reason. I was just using the 325 as a comparison.
Looking at 320s but will probably get a 318.

Considering a year ago i payed £2600 for the white 320 which was mint, this is even cleaner, more service history and evertin and got it for 850 less. I do love the wheels a few people liked them in pictures but since seeing them in the flesh hav fallen in love with them.

320 wins for shear fact its 6 pot over the 4pot 318 but its only minimal, this ones just as quick as me 320 was. If you are goin to get a 318, make sure its the "IS" as it has the reworked engine to 140bhp as apossed to the normal 318 which is 117bhp

Is the "IS" after a certain year or is it throughout that shape of 318s?

Im not to sure on that one mate but just search for 318s and make sure its an "IS" before buying, Jas mate is selling one on ebay,
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/bmw-318is-coupe-mtech-kit-m3-replica_W0QQitemZ220297117421QQihZ012QQcategoryZ9837QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
theres plenty around, not many tidy 320s around though, i struggled to find one, hense why i went for the 318is. 325 would have been to much on insurance for me with my points but im not into speed, so there is great for just driving round in
