as this is a bike helmet i take it it's not msa/fia etc approved, but does anyone know if the likes of silverstone track days require that, or just as long as its a good helmet its ok?

Agreed, you in that helmet stood next to your car with one of the number plates showing, spunk-tastic tbh.

You looked more attractive when I put the inner sun visor down. And stood in the shade. Facing a wall. With my eyes closed. From a distance. Whilst drunk.

had a snoop aboot the net.
quote: At the vast majority of tracks, the ECE standard will be fine - it's just at the major circuits with motorsport scrutineers that you are likely to run into problems: Silverstone and Brands specifically.
Therefore if anyone plans to buy a new helmet, ensure that it is MSA recognised (BS 6658 type A, Snell SA2000). For those of you with ECE 22/05 helmets, we'll deal with this on a case by case basis - and we'll do our best for you... Watch this space!
so basically, my helmet is ok for most stuff, but brands and silverstone might be picky, but i'm only ever likely to maybe visit silverstone, and worst comes to worst, i'll rent one

If it has the Gold sticker it will be accepted for pretty much anything as that sticker allows you to race a bike with it..

i'm going to see how i get on on saturday first. but most probably.
i don't really plan on doing anything other than track days at the mo, unless a glittering career in motorsport is my destiny
