22nd Birthday is coming soon, Friday 31st, Halloween... always usually a good night in Liverpool but fancied a change, so we've just booked the Marriotte hotel in Newcastle for 2 nights, mate works in the L'pool one so got it for £32 a room how local is it to decent places, and where shall we look at going? We tried Brummy out once (Max Power weekend) and found it crap cause we didn't no where to go, so thinking ahead now!

Make sure you do have a good plan of where to go.
I went on a stag weekend and didn't enjoy it, but everyone says its one of the best nights out you will have in England so we must have just gone the wrong places.

I went down last year for the wroks night out and we're going this year as well, blu bamboo and sports cafe are good.
It's a good place to do a crawl as well, plenty of places next to each other.

Quayside now seems to be the venue of choice for Birthdays, Hen and Stage weekend which we tend to avoid on nights out in Town however there are still some decent bars down this neck of the wood. My Personal favourites being Chase, Quilted Camel and Sea for Clubbing
The Bigg Market is the cheesiest drinking area of Newcastle but also quite rough due to it's Charva contingency, good for a laugh just dont stay there too long, bars worthy of a mention are The Vault and Liquid with BluBamboo the nearest decent slag infested Club.
Then you have the classier drinking establishments in an area known as the diamond strip which is situated near the Central Station. Stunning Women, funky beats and generally a hassle free night, this is where me and my mates usually spend our time. Bars you should definitely visit are Tokyo, Revolution and Perdu.
You also have The Gate complex which has something for everyone, be slags in mood, wannabe WAGS in Beyond or absolute trailer trash in Buffalo Joes. One place worthy of a mention though is Tiger Tiger which has abit of variety, drink on the ground floor with unobtrusive background music, lively bar on the second floor and bangin' nightclub in the back room.
Venue of choice for all of the serious Clubbers has to be The Shindig @ Digital which is situated in the Gay area of town to the west of the Central Station. There is generally a strong lineup on a Saturday night and the Club apprently has one of the best sound systems in Europe
The are also two Marriott's in the area but I suspect you are staying in the Gosforth Park which will cost you about £5 in a taxi to the centre of town.
Hopefully that should give you some ideas but is you want anymore info feel free to contact me

It's normally parked up in Glasgow, we went all the way down to Newcastle and ended up on something we would never go near up here

My recollection of Newcastle was my mate trying to spew over a balcony in Ant and Decs pub and getting chucked out, then me stepping onto a revolving dancefloor and falling flat on my arse.
The police were also phoned at 1 stage but we don't speak of that

Twas a good weekend
I'd forgot all about ant and decs pub.
He was nearly sick so got tossed out, we finished our pints then went out to get him, only to find him standing downstairs drinking a pint
