Broke up with a girl I was with for 3 years around 3 months ago. Found out last night that my best mate(of 15 years) had been kissing her all night out in town. Now, she can have any boy she likes i'm not bothered about that..But it's the fact it was my best mate? She knew this would get to me..I feel i've been let down by two people and i'm really unsure how to deal with this. I hate the pair of them at the moment but I don't want me and my best pal to be ruined because of a "drunken" mistake. I hate calling something that, because drink isn't an excuse.
Has anybody been in this situation before? If so how did you take it and so on. Cheers

I would hate to be in that situation, would never want to fall out with a mate but I would never ever go with a mates ex. No help for you but it must be pretty shitty.

I would let them be, stay cool with your mate, and say to him that if he is happy then you will be happy for him....that way if she is trying to get a reaction out of you, then she hasnt suceeded. make sense?

He isn't getting with her it was just a one night thing aparently. When they see each other next it will be a "head down" moment. It's just principle..He could have had any girl in the world but it had to be her, and vice versa for my ex..Any boy but him. I feel really, really let down.

 I couldn't beat him up.
He came on msn to me today and told me straight, it isn't face to face but he could have not told me I guess so I respect him for that. He won't meet up with me incase I kick the shit out of him which won't happen, I just don't understand why.

A good mate of mine accused me of trying to go with his ex which he broke up with. At the time of accusation, I was with him fixing his car someone didn't think it through tbh
Needless to say we arent speaking any more  .
anyway..... Don't have a go at your mate, talk to him in a civilised way and tell him the way you feel about what happened (and make sure it did actual happen if you didn't see it ) .
It's up to you whether you want to talk to him anymore but I have always gone with the idea of Bro's before ho's and so I never mess about with any of my mates girls/ex's and never let any girls come between me and my mates i.e. no arguing over females
