Took a slow drive down to Warren's today to do some bit's on the C

First thing was to open the bonnet

Then remove the z-let turbo

move some bit's and bob's about

Re-fit the engine with it's new toy

and job done = VXR turbo

Big thank's to Warren for showing and letting me get involved with the turbo and a few other bit's, His dad for the dinner and comming home was more fun than last time

Even spotted a few CS people on the way back

Before you strt booting it have you done the oil pressure mod?

It wont last long without it

The Z20LET supplies more oil pressure to the turbo than the LEH

Call Regal about the mod as my knowlege is limited, But lots of people have had problems fitting the VXR turbo

It's to lower the oil pressure supplied to the Turbo

I'm unsure how it's done, I was planning fitting a VXR turbo after blowing 2 standard ones now, so I was reading up about it

But I'm now going down the garrett route so I'm not entirley sure what the mod is

havent found on the forums about this

but i cant see how its different, as the oil feed is still going to be the same pressure from the oil pump, and the turbos as not the different, just thicker casting and a few other small interal bits
