I've just washed, clayed and intensive tared, i gave that a blast with the pressure washer to get it all off.

Next i'll use some super resin polish I think as there as quite a lot of swirls, meguiars gold class normal car polish on my windows, coat of nxt wax and that'll be it.

2 bucket method.
microwibre wash mitt for bodywork.
microfibre sponge for wheels.
big microfibre drying towel.

bodywork:

meguiars gold class shampoo.
autoglym super resin polish.
autoglym extra gloss protection.
collinite 476s wax.

wheels:

autoglym clean wheels.
chemical guys wheel guard.
meguiars endurance tyre gel.

glass/lights:

autoglym fast glass.

plastics:

autoglym bumper care.

always done me well, just a question of knowing how to use the products right in orer to get the best out of them

Take one bucket of hot water from the tap, add Autoglym shampoo

Find sponge

Wash car

Dry with towel/autoglym scrapey dealy

Wax

Do tyres/exhaust etc

Admire the fact that in a day it will look every bit as good as those who fuck around with 2 buckets and shit like that

Take one sponge, one bucket, cheapo Halfords Car Wash, wipe car, hose it down. Done.

Oh and refrain from using words such as detailing, also don't use camera's and special lighting, and don't threaten to take it back if you find the tiniest imperfection

hose down

warm water in a bucket with some cheapo wash wax stuff

rinse

chamois dry

SRP then some cheap turtle wax wax stuff

If im doing a 'major' clean this is what I tend to do

Hose down with clean water
wash with turtle wax shampoo
Hose down again with clean water
Try off with a drying blade and mircro fiber drying towel

Clay the bodywork using a meguiars clay bar
autoglym tar remover where needed
autoglym super resin polish
meguiars tech wax
dress the plastics and tyres

gets mine looking pretty spanking

whats all this two bucket stuff all about?

b) You're gonna have to drive there, therefore all your nancying about will be lost form the crap from our roads

IF I lived in California or summat then I'd probably pay a lot more attention to cleaning, but I don't... i live in rainy old England and drive 70 miels a day just to work and back, theres simply no point... and thats the case for 99% of people

chuck the remaing water from washing the pots over it and go out and thrash the fuck out of the car to dry it

some sort of wheel cleaner
Bucket of soapy hot water
sponge
leave to dry
t cut restorer
auto glym bumper care
then maybe pledge and hoover the interior

Thats is inside and out with polish, dash spray (nice shiney smelly stuff), tyre gel, leather stuff on the seats - and a free air freshner!
