So last week i went from liverpool, to the trafford centre, via alfretton in derbyshire

300 miles, and it used up £40 worth of petrol

34.4 mpg apparently, is that any good?

I wasnt exactly driving slow or slowly accelerating either

1.6 corsa sport 97 btw

Nice one, i've only ever had a max of 28mpg from a 1.4 Sport

Yeah, not bad. Could have probably got high-30's if driven 'sensibly'.

What was the price per litre of the £40?

28-30mpg around town for me in the LCR

Have seen 37mpg on a long run tho, behaving that is

50MPG lethal!! how many miles is that to a tank?? think my 1.2 16v does about 380/390 to a tank??

about right, mine does about that
did more mpg with skinny tyres on steelies but alloys look better

I filled it up again just as the needle crepped into the red. Was going to chance it and see how much further i could go but bottled it

I like your style mr! Also own a ibiza tdi sport 130pd. Im going to be banned for saying i can get 65 - 68mpg on a run in a remapped car.

I can get into the early 60's on a run, holding 75-80 withotu a remap lol!

But I drive round town most of the time, hence 47 mpg
