Im guessing it cant be gassed as A;it has a lot of power to lift off the line,and B;u cudnt use gas on take-off,well not as much as ud need to get it too lift like that.

its funny really the mk2 escort is almost the perfect car when it comes to a well balanced rwd that can seem to handle endless amounts of power and still be good yet the technology, and i use the word technology in the loosest possible way is almost from the dark ages, and the way that phot captures it ie the leaf springs is uber cool.

and as for the power well pinto power aint cheap to put together, back in the 90's when pinto's were used heavily in national hot rod racing and engine build was in the region of £15000 along came the red top and that price tag halved.
