General chat to start with, it's a focus underneath but the focus has better suspension and is probably cheaper.

Front and side profile is awesome - love it.

The rear looks shocking and on that alone I couldn't have one.

Pretty expensive for any of the hot versions too!

SNAP!!

I went into the local dealership last weekend and drooled a VXR astra which was in Arden Blue 21K list price down on offer for 15K with 4,000 miles an ex manager demo car

Also just had an insurance quote for one £539 Fully Comp with my current insurer

You dont want anything less than an R-Design spec. I had a 2.5 Turbo R-Design for a month, identical to that one pictures.
Twas alright, but the interior was a bit cheap and the materials wore pretty quickly.

£1300 fo the focus as of next july mate, getting old have never been so good that's £900 less than i pay now at 20

i was going to buy the c30 r-design instead of the focus st as they both have the same engine in them iirc.

but, the volvo was too high priced for what is esentially a more radical looking focus st.

nice car's though, just a fast hot hatch style car for the respected middle class businessman.

don't expect wonders with regards to economy.

i get 5MPG yes that's 5MPG while i'm on full boost (0.6-0.7 bar at the moment, 1.2 bar when re-mapped) and between 15-22mpg for town driving.

22 mpg is achieved by being a grandad driving like an old far in town.
15mpg is easily achieved with fast powerful driving like i do

you'll hit 30mpg easily on motorways but this car loves country roads.

You're paying £2200 on insurance

That was the price of quotes I was getting on an Audi S3 @ 19 and when I decided the S3 can go fuck

Very good discount for a years difference though
