sorry taken me a while to get some pics due to it being worked on

So at about 7am on a cold monday morning i decided it would be a good idea to go have a look at a car, in Anglesey, with many people calling me an idiot ( i live near London) I thought fuck it, half the fun of car ownership is going to pick it up imo.

SO i left my house at stevenage and got a lift to watford central station, great. Although the m1 had been closed due to flooding traffic ho! after getting to the station at 8:30 and missing my direct train i wasnt happy, i asked how much a non direct return to holyhead would be, £210!!!!
i think ill wait for the 10:30 direct for £70 return i think mate.
Seeing as i had two hours to burn in watford i thought id text alex (whittie off here) to see if he was about anyway might as well have a random adventure, turns out hes dossing about anyway typical, he agreed to meet me at crewe station though which saved me quite a bit of hassle
had breakfeast and headed back and caught my train, all went bang on time and read total vauxhall for the 2 hour train ride ( would help if it was a good issue).
arrived at crewe station and alex was late, so after standing around for about half an hour the no numberplated exclusiv finally turned the corner.
bout time. so off we headed to Anglesey bout an hour and half drive from crewe though we had to do it in a 1.4
finnally got to the place the sat nav took us to, no sign of it, how could we miss it? so after a phone call and bad attempts at welsh we got the guy to come and meet us
he turns up in a rusty nova, hope this isnt a sign of things to come
we followed him to his house and there she was gleaming in the welsh sun, instantly loved it.
after quite possibly the scariest demonstration ive been out in i part with the cash and sort out all the insurance docs least i wont be taking the train home
followed whittie to the nearest petrol station with the car really struggling due to lack of petrol, bad times, oh well made sure i had my aa card on me.
finnally made it to the petrol station which is where the fun begins, for some reason its not filling up properly i mean its taking 10 minutes to put a fiver in, and its empty and ive got a 200+ mile trip to make not only that there was a few drips of petrol coming out, leaky? rang the guy id just bought it off, usual story of ohh thats never happened before mate . oh well fuck it, managed to fill it up in about 3 different petrol stations with people getting annoyed at the amount of time im at the pump
finnaly left llandudno and whittie at about 7:30, with numerous petrol stops because the petrol gauge stopped working mid trip and i had no idea if its was leaking whilst on the move lol finnaly got back to stevenage at about 11:30 in the pissing rain
sorted the petrol tank out anyway, all the breathers were blocked (bodge!!!) and the leak was caused by a frayed breather pipe, so been sorted with some garden hose
cars running sweet now after tidying up all the electrics new coil, new leads, plugs, and just a general tidy up.

Absoloutely loving it atm, sooo much fun.

anyway heres a few pictures for you

big big thanks to alex, cant thank you enough mate, top top bloke

Pro choice!

Just get the mk1 front lower spoiler (and do wheels in black) and it's DONE!
