getting bored atm and want something to muck around with. looking to spend about a grand, possibly £1,500 MAX... on an old skool hatch

tbh, R5 is my favourite, always loved em! my mate keeps telling me to get a 205 GTi though. would like opinions of actually owners! but anyone, vote away

i nearly got a Mk1 GTi for free. sooo gutted now!

Right, you've got £1500 so I'd instantly discount the ERST, R5GTT and Golf GTI as they'll all be shitters for that cash.

The only thing worth having out of the rest of them is the 205.

None, a 106 xsi, 16v if your lucky, infact..i know of one for sale for 900, needs a tiny bit of work though, nothing much.
