It baffles me where all this money has gone. As I understand banks have invested in sub-prime mortgages to make themselves a shed load of money, now it's gone tits up it's the state that has to pay for it all. I'm guessing there are quite a few very rich bankers out there.

the rich ones are the ones who saw it coming early and got the fuck out or put a bet the oppsite way ala goldman sachs, they got some proper fucking massive bonuses for basically saving the companies ass and rep

its just the economy making its full cycle, bring on the recession and then we can start the cycle again

also if the state didnt pump billions into the system then we'd be seeing some proper fucked up times, like the northern rock situation if the goverment hadnt stepped in then people with over 32k banked or whatever the cap is would loose everything over that set limit.
