i hate the cheek of some fuckers! there's a bloke i work with who normally commutes to work on his mountain bike. the past few days he's been getting a lift to and from work off his wife due to shit weather. she can't pick him up tonight though so he asked me for a lift. he lives about a stones throw away from me so i always give him a lift if he's stuck. the cheeky fucker then tells me that he could do with going to B&Q to get some bits and bobs for the jobs he's got on this weekend. i pulled my face when he said that and asked exactly what he's getting. turns out the "bits and bobs are 13 boxes of ceramic floor tiles and 4 packs of coving. i told him where to stick it. is it me being tight or what? his wife fucking drives and B&Q is open late tonight and all day tomorrow.

aside from the fact the tiles won't fit in my boot so they'd have to go on the back seat.......the coving packs will be too long so will have to go out the window which means driving 6 miles home in shit weather with the window down.

i used to get that shit driving to and from football. i passed by all the lads on the way to the match so didn't mind picking them up. but on the way home you'd have one lad going into town, another going to his mums and a third going to the gym. i'd end up driving about 30 miles round bolton before i even set off in a homeward direction.

That's almost as bad as selling somebody a camera then asking can you take it on holiday with you first

my mate split from his long term gf yesterday but they didn't end things on particularly bad terms. He went to pick up his car and stuff from hers last night(she has had the use of his car because he has a work van and doesn't/didn't use it much) anyway, after he arrived she asked if she could take her kid to its Dads place before he left, he agreed and as they were on their way there she told him she didn't particularly like his car as she thought it wasn't her class of car!!! Fucking cheeky bitch!!!
He swiftly pulled over to the side of the road and left the two of them in the roadside fair play to him imo, no less than she deserved.
So imo Carl you did the right thing, some people will try to walk all over you if they are given the chance

Following on from your football story mate. One of my mates regularly arranges kick abouts etc and texts everyone. Well lately a couple of the lads have been texting him to find out when I will pick them up Cheeky twats. I told the lad that in future get em to atleast ask incase I don't have time etc. Really pissed me off that did.

see for me its more about the way people ask.
Like a mate of mine yesterday asked if we could pop to argos on the way to footy and he'd give me a few quid.
I said yeh got the stuff etc but he didnt give me any cash lol. Havn't asked mind as he isn't one to generally take the piss and atleast he asked before hand etc.

if he'd asked me in such a manner then i may have agreed. saying that i can't get over the fact that his wife drives and i know she's gonna be home at about 6.30 as he told me earlier.

I would of done exactly what you did, except that while people are suggesting you make an excuse as to why you cant go pick up cement, I would of just told him he's putting me out.
Reminds me of a time I picked up a mate from college. It didn't really bother me, as she lived a few roads down and I was at the college anyway. Next morning she calls me to tell me shes missed the bus to college and wondered if I could take her. It just so happened that I was on my way to college and I had just passed her about 10 seconds prior. I agreed to take her but I said she'd have to make her own way back because I wasn't hanging around for her to finish. She agreed so I did a U-Turn and parked up... What I did not see was her 3 mates who were with her (two of them were guys). They all clambered in the car and thats when she told me the two guys went to a different college, so could I drop em off at the bus station I told them to make their own way because I didn't have time so they all gave me the bus fare they were going to use for petrol money. £12 so I agreed.
In the end, I got a phonecall from my mate saying our lessons were cancelled, so I ended up dropping them all off at the college, and going to my mates to play Xbox. The bus station was about 2 miles away from my college, and they couldn't ask for the money back because I had already put it in my tank. Dunno what happened to them after that, and I dont care
