Well it went yesterday, traded it in

Had it just under 2 years and my GF said she needed a 'Less noisy' 'Lighter steering' type of car

So we looked around and we found this..

Got a good deal for the old Corsa, its a 1.2 16v with the normal stuff.

What you guys think?

Also when its idling its really jumpy like its misfiring slightly or are they always like this?

Gooood love your car

Ive drove the 1.2 16v clios, theyre ok but I find the gear stick a bit 'wobbely' compared to a corsa and the steering is very light, good cars though

Cheeky, I thought your avatar was the 12v

If the gear stick is wobbly on a Clio, more so than a Corsa, what ever is it like

I'll have a look at he undefined code for you. Must have the electric pas system.

It's not the worst engine ever, especially for only having one camsahft. Most renaults I've seen (including mine -1.6 16v) seem to flicker at idle - 750+-50 rpm usually, but it's not noitcable usually.

Yes, D4F is one cam shaft running both valve sets. Its quite efficient though.

VSS... depends on how the system works - is the speedo working fine? If so, clear the code and see if it reappears.

ABS system is prone to faults, so this can cause the VSS issue.

On the steering issue, I'm not sure yet.
