Well, it's "different" so it must be mega cool 
Fact is, this look has been round for years, mainly taken on by poor people who can't afford a decent car.

way i see it is, if jimmy were to paint his bonnet, it's be a really well put together car.
its up to jimmy what look he goes for with the car and if at this very moment he's feelin the rat scene then fair play.
that said i think the astra serves the rat look well because of the budget its been done on and the light heartedness of it.
the nova the same really.
as said though, i think fast car have taken it too far with the guide and stickers.

If "the rat look" did ever have an oz of coolness in it, then the fact it's now featured in Fast Car has certainly taken that away.
I also agree about Jimmy's car. Lovely car with lots of time and money spent on it. Then stick a shite bonnet on it and use the same joke at every show with a "new bonnet fund" label on it. Oh joy.

That corsa looks fucking stupid, it's got a rusty bonnet so it must be 'rat look'
Look at the rest of the car, clearly alot of money has gone into it, beggars belief how he would want it featured like that
The other two look like 'rat-look' cars, but i have no idea how anyone can like owning cars like that

The asrat was designed for that no matter how dtupid it looks.
The corsa was done well apart from the shitty rusty bonnet.
Thats just a not very clean nova with stuff on the roof though, how did that make the cover of anything.

why modify your call to a certain rat look... fair enough if its actually a rat... just a 100.00 banger covered in stickers and mad stuff used to ferry you around shows etc but not when its a 2.1 c20xe corsa van thats had a bomb spent on it ?????

Its got a bonnet with suface rust,whats the big deal,he can easily swop it.
Imo the bonnet looks good.
