i belive the 110 is the crap early one
differnce between 115-130 pd engine is just a map
150 has bigger turbo/intercooler and injectors

i've got an ibiza 130 - its very torquey as standard - with a map it'll go to 160 -170bhp
then you're looking at clutches and fmic etc etc

It's not, its at least the injectors and I think turbo also.

Dont buy a 150, they eat cam loobs, so i have seen by the sheer amount in the local vw dealer.
Check the following for mapping information;
Amd Technik
Custom Code
Motech Performance
All had decent write ups.
For the record a friend of mine has a Passat PD130, with 130k on the clock, had it mapped to 180bhp with a sheed load of toque and my christ its quick
Also nothing gone wrong with it "yet", suppose its down to how well it is mapped.
The tolerances on things like clutches etc will take a hit, but they are pretty good to be fair.

Get a 130. Remaps vary from 150-185bhp depending on where you go and how aggressive it is mapped.
Smoother the better though looking back on my remap, or you'll chew through your clutch in a matter of weeks

it will be either a 115 or a 130 depending on what i can find and how much i decide to save, iv seen a few 110's mapped to a claimed '145/150'
think 130 sounds like a winner though, gonna try find one with sub 100k miles, map it, clutch, and keep it
