Really random question! Maybe this should be in geek day! Was just thinking what is the heaviest substance you can get? Like is there anything that even a golf ball sized amount is very heavy?

Uranium is the heaviest naturally occuring element that we know of. There are synthetic elements and certain molecules that are heavier, though.

The heaviest theoretical value of any element that I have heard is called eka-radon, element 118, with a hypothetical molar mass of 294. In lay man's terms, a certain amount of atoms of the element Iron weights approximately 55 grams. The same amount of atoms of lead is 207 grams, and the same amount of eka-radon atoms weighs 294 grams.

I'm not sure what the heaviest pure substance in the world is, but there are many compounds out there. An example of a very heavy substance is lead nitrate, with a molar mass of 331.2 grams.
