I know I said the roof is a circus and the engine will blow up but I couldn't find anything else cheap enough, found this in a dealer down south. Picked it up Friday and it's in the garage getting tyres already but that's another story, took these pics in my brief window of ownership on Saturday. It's a 2006, has been an ex-demo in a previous life so it's got the colour nav with Bluetooth option and xenons which turn corners and shine further the faster you get. Only half leather but I figured it was easier to bolt in new seats than retro fit the electronics if I want it same as my old one.

I've already been told not to fit chrome mirrors to it but I might go against that advice as I think it needs them so it looks like mine. Needs an armrest as well. Other than all that I'm fairly happy

I know, 228g/km and the threshold is 225.

Made the car very cheap indeed though so I'm square. I was thinking about a 1.9CDTi but they're a grand more like for like.

Astra VXR is 221 CO2 (g/km)

How does this have a higher CO2 output?
