I know theres a lot of dog lovers on here.

Just turned this on.

Was just showing the crufts german shepherds.

Showing you a proper working one and a show one, the show one is very clearly deformed, can't walk properly.

The crufts judge said that the deformed show one is the way its supposed to look

Pure cruelty imo.

as i said on the last thread about this, i cant understand why people pay hundreds of pounds for a sickly pedigree dog when there are so many healthy dogs in rescue centres that need homing.

my dog came from manchester dogs home, cost me £50 and i expect he will live to a ripe old age

We have a pedigree border collie, stunning dog, absolutly amazing animal, but he has one white ear so would never be considered for crufts. He's a proper working dog however, bred on farm etc, not bred for showing, although his uncle won crufts one year, then lived to be 24 years old

Me and my GF are "on a break" and she took her dogs with her, I've never been a dog person before but I really loved them so have vowed to get myself one in the future if me and her don't sort out our differences - and it'll be from a rescue centre, one of her's in a springer (she comes from a family of springer owners) but the other is a crossbreed (jack and dash I think - I'm rubbish with dog identification tbh! ) and he is fucking mint, he was bought by her ex and he didn't want him when they split so she took care of him.

I'd have no qualms about getting a cross that needed a good home.

yeah but John, they did exaggerate, its a herding dog, it needs some aggulation to be able to turn swiftly, the one though was a mess, but when she said the winner (zamp) was uneasy on his back legs, it was a bit exaggerated. the working lines look a lot better though
