I saw all the focus`s goin down the motorway on sunday morning about 7.00 lol we was on our way to usc.
Anyway looked in my mirror and saw a blue focus rs coming up then there were about 10 of em and then i saw another one coming up and all of a sudden there was a load of smoke and he swerved from the fast lane to the hard shoulder and then we saw the flames coming from under the car , My mate said he had all bits coming out of his exhaust and hitting him.

Yeah that was the northern lot from the RSOC coming down to meet the rest of us at the services on the M1 J15a. It's a guy called Alex and apparently his FRS decided to launch a piston and conrod out of the side of the block at only 50mph off boost after only 33500 miles!!

Yeah he's hoping to get it fixed under the warranty that came with the car. It's at his local Ford dealer as we speak, so finger crossed!

Yeah Steve- those pictures do not do that FRS justice. I was chatting to the guy who owns this for ages. He's retrimmed the interior to white+blue leather, and dark blue carpet throughout. It's not finished yet either as he's still got to finish off the doorcards, steering wheel and dashboard.
And the great thing about this car is that he uses it as a daily driver- it's done more miles than my FRS! So it was great to know that a car in as mint conditon as that is not a trailer queen or only used for shows! I absolutely love the engine bay- hence why I took so many pictures  I'm not a big fan of the white hoses (but purely just for the fact from the perspective if it were my car I'd get sick of keeping them clean probably!)but it works so well on his car with the attention to detail tying it all in together

I don't understand the white for one minute... very bizarre... i undertsand the bonnet, but it looks gash... and he hasnt even got xenons either

Yeah it was a good day hun Great to see the rest of the RSOC peeps again Like I said in Iain M's picture thread- there were 65 FRS on our stand, like a big family reunion! hehe!

I think the RS look-wise should be left standard IMO. But what I meant was because of all the mods he'd done it worked well I thought ie: the white+blue interior, white hoses, chrome bits. In no way, shape or form would I allow white wheels on UncleFocus that's for sure! Or that gash bonnet!

Yeah but everyone's got different tastes haven't they Xenons are expensive though iirc on the FRS converting it all over etc?

It does look nice under the bonnet (although strange choice in white when blue is so obvious... and std!) but yeah, dont touch the outside

Yeah they are Ford Imperial Blue It's just the way that photo was taken with the sun shining straight on the paintwork after I'd spent all day buftying with this cool new polish Zymol sent me out!
