OMG I'm panicing now.

Going away to Turkey on the 18th, got to spend 7 days at work from now till then!

Money, 2 weeks, I'm going away with the GF and her family, in our own room if that makes any difference. We'll be spending most of our time with them (meals in and out etc), fair to say we'll be eating out 50-60% of the time, rest of time I should think we'll all chip in and help cook at apartments. Not eating out lunchtime apart from the odd thing I should think.

Not looking to bomb alot in Duty Free or buy loads of clothes jewlery, but maybe doing some boat trips etc:

£350 into Turkish Lira and £50-70 in Sterling?

Also I know about £10 Visa (what sort of country do you have to pay to get in as a torist FFS)

Yes so I've heard. And for groups of people they have to count it out in front of the person there. I'm taking two possible tenners, if they dont that one of them the cunt with a gun can shoot me for all I care, then I'll claim my arse back of their goverement.

But, that aside, is that enough up there?

Altinkum I think. I don't know, the GF's mum refuses to tell me anything, what time the flight is, where we are staying, how much money to take. Mum and Dad are banging on about how I should just be sociable and spend what ever needs to be spent (just becuase I don't own a house and have a job they think I'm raking it in). Which is (and I quote) "anything up to a Grand, don't you know how much holidays cost??"

Yes Will, really I just collected my bag and my Uncles mate picked me up

Apparently you can get better deals if you pay for trips with Sterling?

£350 Sterling will probably be enough, just. I'd have probably taken £500 to be on the safe side.

Woah, just forgot the £60 for hiring Aircon, and £10 for hiring kettle. Trip to Tesco to buy a kettle might be in order

Thanks alot mate, I did think £500 was a touch excessive for that. I managed to spend fuck all in the IOW with Kirsty (ate out one night out of 5, had a few drinks in the bar but mainly food from Morrisons), only the stupid cost of running the car up their bloody hills

I'd take at least 500 mate, probably for 2 weeks take a grand, so i'd have enough not to worry. change it at the P.O and then keep the receipt, any you dont spend you can change back at the rate you bought it

You sorted insurance ?

They don't want anything extra for me for any shopping, her Mum keeps saying that they once they've paid for 5 (5 big eaters as well), she might as well pay for 6. I normally give her some cash after holidays though, so that can come out later.

Random midnight excursions FTW
