Been looking at these today, and got an insurance quote of £680

Just wondered what everyones thoughts are on them, never looked at them before. Spied one local with 27k, fsh, a/c (no leather ) for £7k

Was looking at getting a mk3 golf gti, then had a look at mk4 golfs then thought of the corsa.

Looking for something newer, more reliable and standard. Compared to a decked saxo vts

I owned a 1.8 sri for a year. it was very reliable, cheap to insure an typically 32-35 mpg.

suspension and brakes are good as standard, they arent reallly fast but fun to drive.

I sold it and bought a polo 1.9 tdi 130 (gttdi) and cant believe I didnt sell the corsa sooner and get the polo. its quieter, faster, does 50+ mpg, more comfortable etc.....

I sold my 2005 Sri in great condition with 60k on for £4600.

Really nice looking. I'd consider the 1.7CDTi though, although a bit slower in terms of BHP.

All are very very rare with leather mind.

Dont really fancy a diesel, dont have to travel to work and car is purely for leisure so fuel consumption doesnt really bother me. I like my revs too much I think

Away to pop down to the garage and see how much they'll offer me for the vts, and see if I can get a test drive and a closer look at it. Then go try my local vauxhall garage and see what they can get me out of interest

Not keen on black for some reason, when I looked on pistonheads there was loads and loads of black ones! Too common for me I think, fancy ultra blue or red

Lots of potential!!!!

Great little engine, responds very well to tuning.

1.8 will come with rear discs, wooooo

Not fast, but nippy, does the job with a bit more poke.

I'd have one, strip it, tune it, bigger brakes, track it. Better other cars out there for the money though.
