iv got one, its not a gsi mind but it might aswell be.

Main thing is look out for rotten rear arches, other than that there nice motors.

My cousin has one, don't think she's had too many problems with it although it does have the newer Calibra XE in it rather than the Astra Reptop.
Personally I like them, did want one as my next car but decided against a 2.0L with the way petrol prices are these days.

Ive had 2.
1st one was a 1.8 GSI and the 2nd started life as a C20XE,then it was converted to a tuned C25XE.
Brilliant cars IMHO,will always cut it in the looks department.
I would definatly own another 1 day but it will have to be a clean 1 and have to be a P1.Not a fan of the P2,to me they are just sports with gsi bumpers.

Because i got really good money for it.Paid £1k for it in standard form, sold off the engine which paid for a full cavvy donor car.Spent £800 getting it looking the way it did in the pics, and sold it on for £2500.
It was a C25XE with flat flywheel and F20,3.0 cams,3.8bar FPR and air filter.Sounded amazing and went really good too.
To this day tho i wish i had kept it as the rear arches were originals and still had many years left in them and clean 1s like that was are getting really hard to find.
Also at the time i seen another car which i fancied(and bought) so the sale of the astra paid for it.

Mental car... I remember going to Southend with him. It got to 160mph (indicated) quick-as-phuck (and I'm used to that speed on the bikes), and just kept pulling and pulling right off the clock. Spinning up in 4th.

That is nice and im surprised it hasnt sold.

How is it soo low at the rear tho??As the lowest Jamex springs are -60mm and that looks about 120+ at the rear??Mines were custom made and were only about -80mm.

Also i wouldnt say it was mint if the rear arches are bubbling slightly. These cars rot from the inside out so theres a very good chance the inner arches are fuked.

No rot on inner arches

I've had it on the ramp at work, and i was quite surprised becuase I had a newer one in worse shape

it is only slight bubbles on one outer arch because the wheels supplied with the car were rubbing

rear springs are custom jobs, he has the ones from the jamex kit also

Lovely cars mate,a sn go like stink too.

Come well equipped with loads of stuff but there only down fall is the handling.

I had one for a while and as soon as I changed the suspension to some koni adjustables the car was amazing to drive.

Heres a pic of my old one:

p.s. Dont expect the T/C to work. Weak point for the car.

Great cars in my opinion.
Make an awesome all rounder with a LET fitted.

Just check for rust before you buy, because like any early 90s vauxhall, they rust like hell.
