I feel there are 2 different types of potato chips fans.
The crispy ones, well done, normally fresh from the fryer.
Or, the mushy ones, normally from chip shops wrapped up etc.

What are you?

I'm a crispy, well done chip man. Can't stand soft mushy ones.

both have their merits. the perfect plate would be a variety of each, with copius amounts of tommy k (from marks and spencers)

Chippy chips...some are soft...some are crispy...lots of salt and vinegar.

Can't beat them.

my mothers home made chips are the best. used to love it when she made some but it was rare as fook coz the chip pan stinks the house out.

chipy chips are still good though.

I have to say, depends where eating from.

BK / McD's = crispy and salty as they should be with shit loads of ketchup

Chippie = big fat 'chip shop chips' with a bucketload of vinegar and some buttered (not margarine) bread

I don't really eat chips; closest I get is wedges or realy thick cut homemeade chips that my nan makes with the skin on (basically wedges) - I just find normal chips a bit meh and bland

i'm not a huge fan of potatoes, but do eat chips.
the thinner the better for me really. the way the french do them is pretty much perfect, thinner than chippy style, but a bit bigger and a lot nicer than kebab van, fast food restaurant ones.

the crispier the better as well. if they're just starting to go translucent on the corners, then they're perfect for me.

Nup, if you pull out a baldy half incher in front of my old dear you better leave the room fairly quickly.

Which reminds me, why were you running out my front door at full pelt in a pair of multi coloured Next boxers the other night Robbo?
