only cos a lot of what we eat now isnt technically British.. a lot of it is fusion from other countries.
ok our curries are totally different to what you would find in India but its not really british food.
we are famous for pretty dull cooking really 
although there isnt much thats better than really good fish n chips and a good steak and ale pie (or fish pie)
