oh and 5p odd per litre doesn't get you much IMO.
5p x 55 = £2.75 which is what i would get off if i filled the entire tank up from empty to full.
not good when you've just spent £50 on shopping to get it.

Why are you using 5p vouchers to get it down to 114 when most supermarkets are under that now anyway?

Happy Days
I hate the way this country does this...
Fuel price goes up a lot... Everyone gets upset and moans it's too expensive etc.
It goes down a little and everyone is happy everyone accepts the current price and stops complaining...
... Then unsurprising the price goes up again a LOT and the moans and protesting start.
Drops a little again and everyone is happy and accepts it!
The price is still shocking and the fuel duty tax we pay is a joke - it should be a fixed amount in pence and not a % of the total cost. It means even when the price of oil increases, the amount of tax on the petrol goes up - that makes no real sense and as a result, when it gets bad, it gets worse.
Reason the government don't reduce fuel duty tax? ... well it's win win. Higher tax and fuel prices = more money for them and higher tax + fuel prices = They can claim it's all for them trying to stop people using their cars / being green and that shite
The problem with these supermarkets lowering their prices is that the general petrol forecourt won't be able to cope and eventually there won't be any left (a lot near me have shut) - so you'll have to go to supermarkets everytime you need fuel (which is a pain as they're always packed full of shoppers).
