mk2 (like that bright green one that a girl drives in Hereford), mk3 or mk4?

and they don't have problems, they're not vauxhalls

Coilpacks are there weak points and they have 4 of them. Only about £25 each to replace.

Other than that there good little cars.

MK3 owner here. Check the fuse holder on top of the battery. Prone to getting fried, which can mess up the cooling and air con.

Other than that 3 years of faultless driving.

MK4 Owner too, Cupra T 180

Suspension bushes also as mine going...slowly other than that i cannot fault them in the 10 months ive owned mine

They drink petrol like anything

danny lad and another member has/had them might e worth a u2u, apparently can be made very quick just dont handle well.

but i imagine it will drink petrol like nobodys business.

I have the leon Cupra R and get 31MPG from it and thats the 225 model so i would guess the Ibiza would be a bit better.

My Cupra returns about 37MPG on the Motorway and about 30MPG round town.
