ok so i rang the uni that i want to go to one day and i found out that i will have to do my gcse's does anyone know if there is an age limit for people wanting to do their gcse's as one college web site i viewed only take people under 19 on to take them.
also what gcse,s would you do (ie the easiest), i need english, maths and science but what 2 others would you do?

Hard to say what is easiest, as what is easy for me, might be harder for you and vice versa. If you're computer literate, an IT GCSE might be easy enough. Alternatively, electronics at GCSE level is fairly straight forward.

Are the're any others that would be useful for your goals? You're better off achieving something that will help you than get a gcse that you definately won't use. IMO anyway.

I thought you only got one shot at doing them when your 15/16?
Just do an access course, high school qualifications dont go far in the real world!!

Ring up an adult college, they'll do them.
Im sure you'd only need to sit the main one, maths, english and sciences.

Most colleges have night courses, aimed mainly for adults, you can re-do GCSE's or an access course..

I thought gcse's were the same as scottish standard grades, that you only get one shot at in 4th year of secondary school

Have a look at those but your asking the right questions to the wrong people, these are the types of things you should be asking the institution you're wanting to study at not a corsa website.

yes it is, my mum ended up in court and was told she may go to prison, so she told them she would teach me at home, but as she went out to work at 10am till 1.00am that never happened

There was a kid that someone told me about who lost both his parents and brother in a car crash. He was in school a few weeks later. Education is very important. Fair play for you going to get qualifications now, but there was no reason for you to get them when you were 15 imo.
