had one next to me at a set of traffic lights revving and it sounded very whirry like it was supercharged and went fairly well, just wandering if there were any c2's supercharged as standard (dont think they are) or whether they are common to people supercharging them or whether they are just noisy as standard

No models are supercharged

Edit:Might have been a VTS HDI? that has turbo

they can be charged and turbo'd kits are available takes them up to 200ish bhp when charged

Maybe a VTS with a Pipercross viper and a exhaust system sounds like a supercharger

didnt sound like it had an exhaust just really wirry

and it i dont think it was that powerful as i kept up with it, it was just marginally quicker.

tbf neither of us were really trying i dont think as it was coming off a roundbout but i imagin he would of pissed off had he not needed to pull in a bit further down the road

They do have a little whine noise to them. It does sound like a supercharger, however they do not come with one (i think you may have guessed that by now). When i drive my mates C2 VTS, he said go for it..... so i did. I heard a whine (supercharged) noise. I looked at him and said "what the fuck is that".... He said "i don't know, it's always done that." French cars.....

Indeed they do whine a little you can hear it a lot clearer with a exhaust system and a Pipercross viper on it

It is better with a full system but on my 1.4 8v i just have the induction kit and it makes a whoosh noise when changing gear and its just the Throttlebody noise (sounds like a dump valve in some gears)

nice one.

He's wanting to do some more stuff to his coz he's fucked off that he can't keep up So he's wanting a full exhaust system and maybe a remap if he gets a few more things done to it. I'll just change my FD and i'll be away again

A guy on the C2 sports club had his standard VTS rolling roaded before and after fitting a Full ashley motorsport system and it went from 126bhp to 138bhp iirc may be wrong but was a nice little gain (tell your mate to sign up if he aint on already)
